William Fonda

If you've been to a Warriors home game since 2023, you know the voice. William Fonda is Valley Christian's Public Address Announcer. He brings energy, polish and a genuine love of the game to every event he calls. He is the voice of Warriors football, girls volleyball, boys volleyball, boys basketball, girls basketball and baseball. Away from the microphone, he is the Communications Manager for Valley Christian's Conservatory of the Arts, sharing the stories of VC's student artists and performers.

Fonda's announcing career started long before he ever stepped into a press box. When he was 3 or 4 years old, his dad gave him a box of baseball cards. With nothing but a tape recorder and his imagination, he called an entire nine-inning baseball game. He still has the tape today.

A San Jose native, Fonda graduated from Branham High School in 2011 and still lives in San Jose. He attends Calvary Church in Los Gatos.
"Valley Christian offers countless opportunities for students and staff alike to showcase their amazing abilities," Fonda says, "all while worshipping God for all the amazing things He does for us."

His life verse is Romans 10:9: "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." "God doesn't ask us to be perfect, as we never will be," he says. "He just asks us to come to Him with humility, even though we are broken. His grace is a gift, and we could never repay the cost that Jesus paid on the cross, but He loves us so much that He just asks us to believe."
