Adam Gill is in his 25th year at Valley Christian Schools. He is the Junior High Athletic Director and the K–12 Physical Education Department Head. Since 2002, he has shaped the first competitive experience for generations of Warriors. He builds the skills, character and love of the game that young athletes carry into Valley Christian High School and beyond.

Gill has coached across the junior high program, including flag football, girls basketball, girls soccer, and track and field. His teams compete in the East Side Athletic League, where they have won league championships. He holds the Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) credential and an NSCAA Advanced National Soccer Coaching License. Before Valley Christian, he was a PE substitute teacher and coach at The Harker School in 2001–02.

Gill was an elite soccer player. At Haverling Central School in Bath, New York, he was a High School All-American and graduated in 1997. He went on to play soccer at Liberty University, where he earned All-Region honors. He was later inducted into the New York State Section V Hall of Fame for soccer.

Gill earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health from Liberty University. He added a master's degree in Kinesiology from San José State University.
Asked what he loves most about Valley Christian, Gill points to his colleagues and the support of the school's administration.

Adam and his wife, Kristi, live in San Jose with their sons, Kellen and Jax, both Warriors. Kellen is a 2026 Valley Christian graduate, and Jax is in the Class of 2029. The family attends Calvary Church in Los Gatos.

Gill's life verse is Proverbs 3:5–6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." It was the first verse he learned after he became a Christian and was given a Bible.

Fun fact: The Gill family has visited every Major League Baseball ballpark together.
