Water Polo is Up and Splashing

School has begun and sports are starting again which can only mean one thing, welcome back water polo! The season started at the end of August and runs until early November. This means playing around 15 matches this season and practicing every school day with an occasional Saturday practice. The teams practices 30 minutes in the morning and two hours after school.

The coaches are looking to the returning players to lead their team to victory. “This season will be an exciting one,” stated sophomore Andrea de la Cruz. “I gained a lot of knowledge about the game last season and I can’t wait to start playing again.” The water polo team is really looking forward to the 2009 season and making their mark on school history.
