Monica has been playing basketball for the past five years and has earned recognition as Most Inspirational and Best Effort. She is another outstanding student carrying a 3.15 cumulative grade point average who also likes to socialize, swim, eat and dance. Monica is a lefty who is a streak shooter capable of scoring points in bunches when she gets hot. She describes herself as a very energetic person who smiles a lot on and off the court. Monica can speak Spanish fluently and hopes to attend the University of Santa Clara after high school and pursue a law degree.

Coach Harris says, “Monica possesses the ability to knock down the open shot. She supports the team everyday, and makes an effort to get better every time she steps on the court.”
