The JV girls concluded the sweep of this 4 game tournament with a win over Lynbrook 44-21.    After a sluggish victory against a tough Evergreen Valley team in the opening game, at 9:00 am the day after Christmas, the Lady Warriors focused on the goal --  Valley Christian's first JV basketball tournament championship in the past 8 years.   In game two , the team shifted gears and played excellently for the remaining 3 games.   Throughout the tournament, The Lady Warriors' aggressive defense created many opportunities for scoring. 

While Briana Cotton, and Danielle Furr were named to the all tourney team,  it was really a total effort by the entire team that secured the victories needed to be champions.  Every player, in some way, contributed to the success we experienced at the Monta Vista Tournament.
