Friday March 30 - It was a banner day for Valley Christian athletes and coaches with the announcement of the All-CCS teams for the winter of 2007. After a very successful winter season that saw teams and individuals win championships in wrestling, girls soccer and girls basketball, this friday was time for a great group of individuals to be highlighted.
Leading the way was Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach and associate athletic director, Jolene Keel, who was named the Girls Soccer Coach of the Year in the Central Coast Section. Coach Keel led the Warriors to an overall record of 16-5-4 and a share of the WCAL title during the season. The Warriors also earned a runner up finish in the CCS Division II play-offs. Keel was joined on the All-CCS girls soccer team by junior Morgan Celaya (1st team), senior Ali Cheadle (2nd team) and senior Chana'e Jones (Honorable Mention).

contributions to the outstanding boys soccer season
and AJ Newton was named freshman of the year in girls basketball after leading the Warriors girls basketball team to its first ever CCS title.
