Eric was one of the true surprises during the 2006 season. His strong work ethic and intelligence earn him the opportunity to earn significant action on special teams and a growing role on the defensive side of the ball culminating with an incredible fourth down spot in the season finale versus Archbishop Mitty. He seems capable of competing for serious minutes at free safety during the 2007 season. Eric is a true scholar athlete carrying a 3.93 cumulative grade point average. He spent the early part of the summer at a National Leadership Conference in New York and lists his room talking to him as an interesting fact that few know about him.
