Baseball has so many games within the game each day with every pitch bringing on a new set of options. In this vein, a manager's touch can be the difference between a section title and a shortened playoff run. Read on to see the top overall, medium school and small school coaches from the 2008 baseball season.

	Diatte's Warriors won back-to-back section titles

Valley Christian was considered one of the top programs in Northern California heading into the season and they didn't disappoint. Though they lost the No. 1 spot this season, they finished 30-6, won the section title and ended the season as the No. 1 team in the region.

The Warriors were able to repeat as section champions and make it two straight years of at least 30 wins for Diatte and company.

The Warriors never lost consecutive games this year and their best winning streak was 10 games in the middle of the year.
